1. What is death? Strand about death of our current physical selves. Death of our consciousness. Our spirits. Our souls. What does it mean? What can it mean? Can consciousness be destroyed?
1.1. Is there an obvious answer that is a corollary to the existence of consciousness in the universe? To the reality of consciousness of the universe, consciousness in the universe, and our consciousness as a piece of that consciousness.
1.2. What happens to consciousness after death? Can consciousness be destroyed?
All consciousness exists in the experience of the whole. It cannot be taken away. It is physically impossible to take away from the universe the impact that any single aspect of consciousness has had on the universe. Those waves cannot be stopped or taken back or erased. That energy cannot be destroyed. We are forever because matter and consciousness are one and forever in the same way that matter and energy are one and forever.
Is there a universal law of the conservation of consciousness?
1.3. There is a collateral one on reincarnation and the soul. Must consciousness reappear in a reincarnated form?
One also does not have to believe in reincarnation as a way of preserving the soul or spirit of the one if one understands that consciousness, like matter, cannot be destroyed.
